  • The Ice. A chinstrap penguin shows the real dimension of holes of ice on a huge iceberg straying in Bransfield Strait (Antarctica). 2010.
  • The wave. During a cruise in the Drake Passage most of the days use to be windy, the sea gets rough and large waves shake the ship. This environment is the habitat of many seabirds as the Pintado or Cape Petrels. The shot was taken leaning the body and camera against a crane in the lower deck of the ship without tripod to have more flexibility to look for a reasonable frame in that moving ground. This particular shot was selected due to the curious way to overtake the large wave of one of the petrels that did not extend the wings.
  • Mist and cold wind. A Giant Petrel flies on Antarctic sound waters. Shot from lower deck of a ship. Staying in Antarctic waters for a month, we had only but just a few sunny days. The usual habitat of Giant Petrels, its home, is furnished of strong cold wind, a persistent fog on a rough surface of water and light blue ice.
  • Stream and boulders under a dim light. The characteristic habitat of dipper in mountain streams, where boulders and transparent waters predominate. Light is usually dim and the rests of leaves and plants are important elements of the habitat.
  • Patrolling the patagonian steppe.
  • Sea of grass in the saltmarsh. Little egret in the sunset.
  • A room with a view. White Storks nesting on the cliffs. Slow shoot showing the movement of the sea. It was the end of a hard wind day and the waves were breaking on the cliffs violently.
  • A classical Andalusian bird condominium, shared by storks, sparrows and starlings in the very start of breeding season.<br /> Cigüeñas, estorninos y gorriones. Finales de Febrero.
  • Conejo-Rabbit. <br /> En los campos primaverales de España (la tierra de los conejos para los viajeros de la antigüedad), un conejo abandona su exploración del suelo y se yergue un instante observando en la distancia, posiblemente alertado por la presencia del fotógrafo.<br /> <br /> In the spring fields of Spain -the land of the rabbits for early travellers in the antiquity- a rabbit abandons its ground exploration and looks at distance, alerted possibly by the presence of the photographer.
